Our Services

Trips will leave from Hwy 48 public boat ramp. While we will mainly target Crappie, we often will catch Spotted or Alabama Bass, Largemouth Bass, Catfish, and some others. I guide from a 24’ customized Pontoon boat. Coast Guard Approved Captain, can accommodate 1-6 passengers, limited to 6 per Coast Guard Regulations. We provide boat, gas, rods, reels, tackle, and bait. We also supply adult life jackets, if you have someone under 12 we ask that you provide, as it will have to be worn any time the minor is on the boat. All passengers must have valid Alabama fishing license. Fish cleaning is available, but not included in trip price.

I follow the fish throughout the year, using different tactics and strategies to be successful. Summer is a great time to fish, as water warms the crappie will school up near brush in deeper water. This is a great time for vertical fishing over the brush. As the water cools in fall the fish start to move and may be deep or shallow and sometimes scattered. We may vertical fish over brushpiles or in timber, or troll depending on the fish. Winter is one of my favorite times to fish, there is not as much fishing pressure, not much traffic and the fish bite!!! Crappie will move back out deeper as it gets colder and may be found around structure near bait. This can also be a great time to catch spotted bass schooling up deep around shad. This is a lot of fun using ultra light crappie tackle for the hard fighting spots! Then there is spring and spring fever, the fish are changing and can be deep or shallow depending on the weather. The best time to fish is when you can! So book a trip and lets go fishing!
